Hi!
Iβm Danique (she/her), the visual creative behind QiQi Visuals (pronounced Kiekie). Based in Amsterdam, I create images that feel authentic, inviting, and deeply personal.
My love for imagery started young: spending hours experimenting with my dadβs camera, capturing anything that sparked my curiosity. What began as playful exploration quickly grew into a lifelong fascination with storytelling.
While studying at the Maastricht Institute for Fine Arts, I discovered how naturally I could express emotions through imagery. I felt drawn to subjects with sensitive matters, stories often considered heavy or dark, believing they deserved to be told with care. Over time, I developed a style that is poetic, gentle, and powerful. Focusing on whatβs real rather than whatβs perfect.
As a neurodivergent person, I understand the complexities of identity, self-perception, and the importance of feeling valued and understood. My creative practice reflects my deep belief in the power of vulnerability to connect people, cultures, and perspectives. I strive to represent the rich diversity of human experiences and emotions, hoping my work will contribute to a softer yet stronger world: one that is inclusive, connected, and accepting of one another.
